Indikacije
Drontal® Puppy Primjenjuje se za dehelmintizaciju štenadi i mladih pasa od: Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum, Trichuris vulpis
Način primjene i doze
Prije primjene, suspenzija u bočici mora se protresti.
Drontal® Puppy daje se štrcaljkom u usta štenadi, ili se pomiješa sa hranom.
Prije dehelmintizacije životinje ne moraju postiti.
Doza za jednokratnu dehelmintizaciju je 1 ml/1 kg telesne mase (= 15 mg febantela i 14,4 mg pirantel pamoata/kg telesne mase).
Budući da se psi mogu intrauterino i galaktogeno invadirati askaridima potrebno je štenad dehelmintizirati prvi puta u dobi od 2 nedelje, a potom svakih 14 dana do starosti od 3 mjeseca.
Kontraindikacije
Drontal® Puppy ne smije se davati:
– gravidnim i dojnim kujama
– životinjama koje se koriste za prehranu ljudi ili izradu namirnica.
