Indikacije
Drontal® Cat koristi se za dehelmintizaciju mačaka od sledećih vrsta glista I pantljičara:
Gliste – odrasli stadijum
• Toxocara cati (syn. mystax), Toxascaris leonina
• Ankilostomidi – odrasli stadijum
• Ancylostoma tubaeforme i A. brasiliense
Pantljičare
• Taenia taeniaeformis, Joyeuxiella pasqualei, Dipylidium caninum, Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis te Mesocestoides spp.
Način primene i doze
Mačkama se jednokratno daje 1 tableta na 4 kg telesne mase. Tablete se daju izravno u usta ili sakrivene u komadu mesa, kobasice ili sličnom zalogaju.
Preporučuje se vlasnicima da mačiće dehelmintiziraju u intervalima od 14 dana, počevši u dobi od 1,5 meseca pa sve do 2 – 3 po odbijanju.
Kontraindikacije
Ne sme se tretirati:
-mačke tokom graviditeta
– mačiće mlađe od 6 nedelja
– vrlo kahektične jedinke
– životinje koje se koriste za prehranu ljudi ili izradu namirnica
